How do you get your inspiration for the outfits you wear ?
I think most of my inspiration comes from old film stars. Jean Seberg in Breathless, with her gaime effortless charm. Faye Dunaway in Bonnie and Clyde- her berets, scarves, and pencil skirts are vintage staples of mine. Catherine Denueve in Belle De Jour- her immaculate hair beneath those ever so chic pill box hats combined with the classic trench. Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby- The 60's bell dresses shielding her petite figure, the haircut, even down to the nightgowns. All completley inspiring.
What made you start posting your pictures on Chictopia ?
I was incredibly tired of my wardrobe at the time and found myself clicking through fashion sites online to gain fresh new ideas. I stumbled upon a girl from California and found her outfits similar to mine, yet remixed. She seemed to be around my age, and shopped at similar places. So I though, "hey, I can do this," and posted my 1st set of pics the next day.
What blogs and websites do you follow and why ?
My favorite daily reads are www.whowhatweardaily.com,http://blog.forever21.com- We don't have an H&M; in Buffalo which can be a real problem. The next best for cheap trendy clothing is Forever 21. I like to check out their blog for tips, tricks, and mixing their product.

Does the hosiery you wear dictate your clothes or outfits ?
No not really. I don't wear pants all that often so I pretty much live in tights, or knee socks. I do have a general color pallet. I tend to keep it pretty neutral- sticking with grey, beige, or black. Then add variation through the patterns on the tights. Although recently I've been loving tights with a hint of shimmer or sparkle.
What was the last hosiery item you brought and for how much ?
I bought one pair courtesy of Forever 2 that is a beige, cream color with gold stripes, and the 2nd pair from UO which are sheer with black hearts ala 2010 Balenciaga.
Do you prefer sheer or opaque tights ?
I love them all, and own them all!
How often do you wear hosiery ?
On average I would say 5-6 days a week.
What is your hosiery staple ?
Black opaque tights.
What are your style tips for wearing tights ?
Try layering. Either within your outfit, (slips tucked into skirts, double a skirt under a dress for extra volume, and top off with a pair of great tights) Or try wearing tights and slouchy knee socks together.
What do you love-hate about hosiery ?
Snagging a hole in your brand new nylons. Luckily last year it was popular to have have holey tights and I was able to reuse! Recession tip!
